If you want to participate in the evolution of your own consciousness during this lifetime, which in turn contributes to raising the consciousness of others whose lives you touch ... learn to practice the Art of Conscious Dying while you are living. Practice living consciously in each moment and your transition process will be peaceful whenever it comes. Even if you aren’t able to achieve God-Consciousness (illumination, Oneness with All That Is) before nearing death awareness (a period prior to actual death when a person may become aware and in control of her transition experience), you most certainly will during your transition… if you have prepared yourself to merge directly with the Clear Light (our True Nature).

Near-death experiencers have been telling us their stories about leaving their bodies but maintaining their awareness of what is going on around their bodies, including hearing what is being said, and at the same time, seeing and interacting with beings (deceased loved ones, angels, spirit guides, religious symbols) in another dimension. Not just a handful of people, but tens of millions of people, came back to let us in on the secret that we don't die! Our bodies die, but we continue our lives in other forms, in other dimensions, as we evolve toward God-Consciousness. We are spiritual beings having human being experiences. We have bodies but we are not our bodies. We are in the world but not of it.

Practicing to die before you die will assure you of an easy transition and early recognition of the Clear Light where you will be quickly wrapped in Unconditional Love as you return to your spiritual home with your loved ones and continue along your spiritual path.

Beginner's Guide to Conscious Dying: The Path to Soul Healing, Peace of Mind & Unconditional Love
Diane Goble, MSCC, CCHt
(Author of Through the Tunnel: A Traveler's Guide to Spiritual Rebirth)

Here is a guidebook for increasing awareness about the process of transition that we call dying. Dying is a very natural part of life, and is simply the transformation from our human form back to our eternal spiritual essence. Our transition is the journey we take in consciousness as we leave our human form and life behind. We have the sleep of forgetfulness when we transition into the physical world and the clarity of awakened consciousness when we transition back home.

Various religions that base their views on ancient texts and beliefs, describe what may or may not happen at death, what rituals should be administered, how to care for the body, etc. But many people now believe that near death experience reports provide us with a new perspective on dying that offers greater opportunity for the evolution of consciousness. Many of those religious rituals may still be included as part of this practice as each person will design their own journey.

This book and the accompanying CDs offer practical ways to help people live this life free from the fear of death and raise their consciousness so they have more options in their transition process. The practices offered can become a daily routine; a weekly experience while attending the church, synagogue or temple of your choice; part of your meditation or yoga practice; or a cool down after aerobics. The practices may be customized so they work with your lifestyle, your schedule, and your beliefs.

These practices may be used for individual personal and spiritual growth of consciousness, or a minister, spiritual counselor or holistic practitioner may want to study this method and offer classes or private sessions. A person may practice this method on their own, or gather a group of family and friends together to support each other while learning about this practice and other end-of-life options.
